Dr Sean Yong is a consultant dermatologist with extensive experience in general and medical dermatology. His clinical interests include psoriasis, eczema, acne, urticaria, nail disorders and complex inflammatory skin conditions, with a particular interest in hair and scalp disorders.
He graduated from the National University of Ireland in 2010 and subsequently completed specialist training in Internal Medicine and Dermatology. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and has worked across both tertiary academic centres and private specialist practice.
Dr Yong is actively involved in clinical research and trials, particularly in psoriasis, atopic dermatitis and hair disorders. He has published in peer-reviewed dermatology journals and regularly presents at national and international scientific meetings.
He completed a dedicated fellowship in Hair and Scalp Disorders at Sinclair Dermatology, further developing his expertise in diagnosing and managing both common and complex hair and scalp conditions.
