Dr Agnes (Ita) Sari

Dr. Agnes Rosarina Prita Sari (Ita Sari) is an internationally board-certified dermatologist with experience in diagnosing and managing a broad range of skin, hair, and nail conditions. She earned her medical degree (MD) and subsequently completed dermatology specialist training at Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. Dr Ita earned a Master’s degree in Hair Biology from the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at the University of Melbourne and is currently completing her PhD research on hair stem cells at the same institution.

Dr Ita was selected to attend 72nd Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting (Physiology/Medicine) in Lindau, Germany, June 25 – 30th, 2023, as a representative scientist to meet Nobel winner and awarded top 5 project during Sciathon in 72nd Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting (Physiology/Medicine) with title “Artificial Intelligence (AI) based molecular simulation for the prognosis of adverse drug reactions”.

Dr Ita has published numerous articles in dermatology journals and presented her research at the World Congress of Dermatology and the World Congress of Hair Research. She previously practiced as a dermatologist in both public hospitals and private aesthetic clinics in Indonesia while serving as a faculty member in medical education. She is also currently involved as a Sub-Investigator in Sinclair Dermatology's Clinical Trial Centre.
