Dr Georgina Hollmann is a Colombian trained doctor specialising in skin cancer. She works closely with Professor Sinclair as a dermatology fellow and aspires to become an expert in this field. Dr Hollmann completed a Master’s degree in Skin Cancer at the University of Queensland. She is also a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australia.
Her interest in skin cancer started at the very beginning of her medical training in Colombia. She first saw the seriousness of the disease through a patient she was treating through routine wound management. That event motivated her to research the disease and propelled her to move to Australia, which has the highest incident of deadly skin cancer in the world.
