Alopecia is reversible

Researchers At New York’s Colombia University have published their research funding in Nature Medicine today. Essentially they have mapped out the entire immunological pathway that leads to the development of alopecia areata in genetically susceptible people and identified 2 already available tablets that prevent alopecia and 2 already available creams that will reverse the hair loss.

While further work needs to be done to confirm these findings, Sinclair Dermatology plan to commence trials with these one of creams in coming months.
